Galerie de la Friche, Marseille 2010, L'Atelier

For the exhibition "Accrochage ephémère", I showed an installation with photos and drawings, which I developed during a four month visit in Marseille. The photos show different states of the studio during my stay. In these series, photography and drawing blend. The studio walls were dotted with traces of the former residents. I completed these traces with my own small interventions and took photos of these parts of the wall. I combined these photos with the existing traces on the same wall, and took pictures again. In this installation the process of work is transformed into a composition.
