Werkstatt Gallery, Reinach, 2001, Mirrored Room

The entire room of the Werkstatt gallery had been covered with mirror foil and otherwise left empty. The existing installations – consisting of heating and ventilation pipes, cables and fuse-boxes on the ceiling and walls – create a distorted image on the floor: a soft image reminiscent of a surface of water. The visitors and their movement, the changing light and its shimmer complete and modify the mirrored room.
