Kunsthaus Baselland, 2010, Temporary Composition, Regionale 11

„Temporary Composition“ brings together photography, drawings and a video. Coincidence and openess is a relevant aspect of these works. The installation emphasises connections between the different works. In my photographs, classified in an archive, I depict accidental compositions which appear in the public spaces. In my focus are combinations of daily things that can be seen both objective and abstract. All my works are connected by the interest of simple geometric shapes, lines, colours and light. I’m looking for lightness and directness both in process and products of my work. I collect, combine and compose like in a game, which can go on and on while changing media.
