Collection/White, 1998-2005, C-Prints 70 x 105 cm

This series of photographs was presented in 2005 as "Collection/White" as 70 x 105 cm C-Prints at the gallery Stampa in Basel and at Hors Champ in Strasbourg. “Collection” functions as an archive and plays with the notion of an art collection. The photographs in the collection depict sculptural appearances in public spaces. I take photographs wherever I go, with a small point and shoot camera. I set the “art trained” perspective on daily phenomena and reorganize the subjects outside of their original context.
