Houses/Branches, Video Installation, Loop 15’’, DVD 20’ without sound

The video shows a group of simple, white buildings. The camera stubbornly fixes them, while in the foreground, branches swirl by creating a confused pattern. The fixation on the houses would be impossible in reality when driving by them. We drive, yes race through the landscape; the houses remain: though a bit vibrating, they remain the focal point. The restless network of branches in the foreground creates a dense, brushlike structure over the simple, geometric form of the buildings.

Landscape, Video Installation, Loop 12’, DVD 12’ without sound

On the southern arid landscape and a small grey house in the centre appears, in a barely noticeable slowness, a reflection of the opposite structures. The house in the center disappears, new houses and geometric elements magically appear. Reflection and perspective, landscape and architecture permeate to create an image of unclear three-dimensional space, whose slowing down motion momentarily comes to a complete stop.
